Blakemans House in central Chipping Campden is the archetypal Cotswold holiday home.

Its mellow 18th Century Cotswold stone frontage hides a luxurious haven of tranquillity.

From its sunny south facing sitting room with log burning stove, to the kitchen fit for a chef, the solid oak conservatory dining room, the his and hers basins in the main bedroom's en suite and the multi room audio and visual system, everything has been designed to make your stay a memorable one.

The house is ideally situated for sampling the good selection of pubs, restaurants and tea shops in Chipping Campden, for browsing the small shops and galleries.

Children welcome. On street parking. Enter the cottage into the "L" shaped room Sitting Room. In the main body of the room there is comfortable seating for six.

The original main fireplace is purely ornimental, however in the "leg" of the room there is a woodburning stove. This is a light, sunny and fully carpeted room. With full gas central heating, flat screen televisions and Bose music system in all the rooms (except bathrooms), Sky television and telephone makes Blakemans House a lovely home away from home.

Stairs lead up from the sitting room to the first floor landing.

The lovely Kitchen has cream cupboards, granite worktops and a solid oak breakfast bar, a large Mercury range cooker with a gas hob (with wok ring) and electric ovens, a stainless steel extractor fan, Miele dishwasher, Amana American style side by side fridge freezer with ice cube maker, microwave, cafetiere and Duralit toaster.

A door from the sitting room leads into a Utility Room with Bosch washing machine and Bosch tumble dryer.

From the kitchen enter the Solid Oak Conservatory Dining Room with modern style glass topped dining table with craftsman made wrought iron base and matching chairs.

Bedroom One is situated on the top floor. It is a large room with full height sloping ceilings and a mass of exposed beams. Light with windows on two sides. The bedroom is beautifully furnished with a 5' wide King Size sleigh bed and bedside tables, flat topped desk and chair, kidney shaped antique dressing table and fitted cupboards on two sides. A door leads into the en suite bathroom where you can spoil yourself with the his and her basins, walk in shower, WC and bath - all surrounded in marble. The floor is tiled with underfloor heating and there is a heated towel rail.

Bedroom Two is a good size room with a 5' wide double sleigh bed and bedside tables. The lovely original elm polished wood floor is further enhanced with two sheepskin rugs. There are fitted cupboards down one side of the room, a mahogany chest of drawers and ladies armchair.

A door leads directly into the bathroom which can then be used as an en suite bathroom.

Bedroom Three has twin beds with 3' wide iron bedsteads in an ivory colour. Fitted cupboards and a chest of drawers provide ample storage space. Again this is a good size room with windows on two sides.

Two doors lead into the bathroom - one from Bedroom Two and the other from the landing.

This luxury bathroom has a walk in shower and bath, WC and basin - all surrounded in marble. The tiled floor has underfloor heating and there is a heated towel rail. There is also the en suite bathroom to Bedroom One with his and hers basins, walk in shower, bath. Once again, surrounded by marble and with a tiled floor which has underfloor heating and there is a heated towel rail.

The Garden is reached from the oak conservatory dining room and is on three levels. The first and middle levels are paved, the top level is grass with herbaceous borders. There is a garden table with chairs and umbrella. The middle level has ground level lighting. On pleasant evenings you can enjoy a barbecue. The garden adjoins the primary school playground so, during term time, children's voices will reach you during breaks from lessons.
