PROPERTY DETAILS:
Wixey House, a Grade II listed Georgian style home, is situated in the residential area of the High Street known as Leysbourne, fronted by a lay by parking area and a wide grass verge. 250 years old, Wixey House was once owned by local grocer Herbert Wixey, a pillar of local business society. His shop, opened in 1863, was in the next door property on the corner, now a private house. Wixey House was for many years a bakery. Over the last two years it has been completely renovated to a high standard and is now a beautiful and comfortable holiday home with very high quality furniture and soft furnishings. There is full gas central heating with rococco style cast iron radiators.
A range of small shops, pubs, restaurants are all within 5 minutes walk along the High Street.
Enter the house into the lovely old oak panelled hall. There is wood block flooring throughout the hall and sitting room.

Attractive double fronted room with bay window in the sitting area. Two, two seater sofas and two armchairs. Large rug in front of the stove style gas fire.

Lovely, light and sunny room with two large windows. Craftsman made solid oak Super King (6ft) wide bed which can be split to form two, 3ft beds if required. Matching solid oak wardrobe with drawers, bedside cupboards and large mirror. Television with Freeview.
BEDROOM THREE
Another light and sunny room with 5ft wide craftsman made solid oak bed with matching solid oak bedside chests and wardrobe. Television with Freeview.
BATHROOM TWO
Tiled floor with a period style freestanding roll top bath, wash basin and "Thomas Crapper" wc with high level cistern with chain pull.
