Amberley House is one of a pair of houses which are unusual as they appear to be the only buildings of the Regency period in the beautiful High Street of Chipping Campden.  Grade II Listed, on 3 storeys, the rooms are large with high ceilings and attractive original cornices.  Amberley House is ideally located, right in the centre of Campden with its variety of small shops and restaurants, tea rooms and pubs.  Amberley House has its own private, enclosed garden and also private, off road, parking for up to 2 cars at the rear -  one in a garage and the other under a car port

OPEN PLAN KITCHEN / DINING AREA /  FAMILY ROOM

What a lovely room for all the family to gather together.  Wonderful, large

(9.5 metres x 5.4 metres) green oak extension with wood floor.  Doors opening on to decked verandah with table and chairs and enclosed garden.

At one end is the kitchen area with cream fitted cupboards on two sides.  Island with fitted cupboards and drawers and a granite worktop.  Double belfast sink and granite worktops.  Large Lacanche range gas cooker with 5 hobs, two electric ovens and warming oven. Overhead extractor fan.  Miele dishwasher,  Miele under counter fridge plus large free standing Samsung fridge/ freezer. Microwave.  Cafetiere. 4 slice toaster.

FamilyArea with two 3 seater comfortable leather sofas.  Large flat screen TV with Freeview.  Sony music system with radio, CD player and ipod dock. 

Full length glass windows and doors look out on to the verandah and private enclosed garden.  The roof extends to include the verandah so that you can enjoy sitting on the verandah even on a rainy day, overlooking the garden.

FIRST FLOOR

BEDROOM ONE

Very large bedroom (4.7 metres x 4.4 metres) with Super King Size bed (6' wide).  Two armchairs.  Solid oak chest of drawers. Fitted cupboards

Also Single Bed (3' wide) with throws and cushions, which can be used as a settee if not required as a bed (not shown in photo). 

Facing the beautiful honey coloured stone houses lining the High Street, this room is double glazed and quiet.

BEDROOM FOUR

Small bedroom (2.7metres x 2.1 metres) with 3' single bed, solid oak wardrobe and bedside chest of drawers. 

BATHROOM

Bath with Mira electric shower over bath.  Vanity unit with basin and WC.  Please note that this is the only bathroom in the house although there is the cloakroom on the ground floor.

SECOND FLOOR

BEDROOM TWO

Large bedroom (4.8 metres x 3.5 metres) with King Size bed (5' wide).  Solid oak chest of drawers.  Two armchairs.  Lovely views over the rooftops of Chipping Campden High Street. Fitted hanging area for clothes. This room is double glazed and quiet.

BEDROOM THREE

Small bedroom (2.7 metres x 2.6 metres) with 3' single bed against the wall.  Additional 3' single bed is stored underneath and can be pulled out if required.  The room is small and with the additional bed up the beds are together (ie more like a double than two singles) with only just enough room to walk around.  Alternatively, if required, the additional bed can be put in Bedroom Two.

GARDEN

Attractive enclosed garden, with herbaceous border with climbing roses and hollyhocks.  Enjoy sitting on the verandah even on a rainy day, overlooking the garden.  Table and chairs with cushions.

PARKING

At the rear there is parking for one car under the car port area and an additional car can be parked in the garage.  There is further parking either at the front of the house in the High Street or at the rear in Calf Lane.  There is no time limit or charge for parking in these areas.
