Perry Cottage is the prefect place to stay for a visit to the Cotswolds. The Cottage is like home from home, well maintained, clean and homely. The dogs loved having a garden they could run laps in. The property was well located to visit the lovely villages & towns of the Cotswolds. Would highly recommend this property and would definitely return in the future.

A beautiful little cottage in a lovely village
A great place to stay, very comfortable and well equipped cottage with all you could possibly need during your stay and immaculately clean.
Lovely village with great walks around and a good village pub which serves lovely food!
Lovely time, lovely place, would stay again for longer.
Joaqui and I stayed at Perry Cottage for four nights in Mid March, during the horse racing that week. Weather was dull and very very cold, so it was lovely to arrive with the heating on and have hot water and heated flooring. Was delighted by the surroundings and facilities of the cottage. The cottage was lovely, much much much larger than the preview images had shown, so we had plenty of space. The Cottage had everything you could possibly want, including Dishwasher, Microwave and Washing Machine, Hairdryer, Ironing Board, Wi-Fi and Sky TV. We never used the open fire, as TBH it just would of made a mess and not necessarily convenient if we were going out. Plus the central heating was more than sufficient. Everything seemed well maintained and relatively new. The flowers and tea, cake were a nice touch but we could not eat all the cake. I do not think there is such a need for such a large cake !
We did not take advantage of the nearby pubs/restaurants so cannot comment at all on these. We decided to eat out most of the time during days out. I suppose the local pub is within walking distance, but for a shop you really need to drive, so make sure you have everything you need when your out, before you return or arrive at the cottage.
The only issues I can advise on are :
1, Spiders. Woke up at 4 am with one just next to the pillow much to the fright to Joaqui. Managed to dispose of it out the window, but not before chasing it from under the bed. Under the bed there was some evidence that others spiders had been there before.... I guess this is typical of a cottage though... So check before you sleep!
2, Directions. I think these could be easier to have written out, Perhaps just put " We are situated in a village called Paxford" at the beginning of the notes. It would at least tell me where I need to go to at the start, without having to read the directions several times. If you make a mistake its hard to get your bearings back. Also, perhaps the sign for "Perry Cottage" is really small on the actual cottage. As we drove into the private driveway, we was not sure we were at the right place, so quietly backed out the driveway, it was not until coming back again a second time we saw the small black sign near the cottage door approx 50 feet away from the drive entrance. Perhaps a small sign at the drive entrance could be made or something similar? If it was dark, we never would of found it. ( Bear in mind in winter its dark around 4pm and 4pm is the earliest you are allowed to arrive )
3, Communication. During the course of paying in the installments, I found it really hard to actually be able to speak to anyone about the cottage by phone. In addition, there were technical issues with the email link for payment and each time I called, I had to leave a message and I never had a returned call, every response was by email. Finally had to make the payment for the "cleaning deposit" by cheque, which I posted off after obtaining the correct postal address and who to make it payable to. I have emailed several times since our departure to find out if we can have the cheque returned and not had a single reply.
4. Internal Airer. We could not find one, so perhaps we missed it, but would of been nice to have an internal airer to hang washing out with or towels. The outside one would never of dried our items in the weather we had.
In short, would definitely stay again for longer too, perhaps during the summer to take advantage of the garden and surroundings of the cottage more.

A piece of Cotswold heaven
This is our second visit to Perry Cottage and each time we have stayed two weeks, We are regular travellers to the cotswolds having visited over ten times and stayed in many locations.
Perry Cottage for us is one of the best we have chosen it is located very near to all of the main tourist destinations but it's location is in a picturesque small hamlet away from the hustle of the tourists! The garden overlooks an old orchard an lots of wildlife are visible from the cottage.
The property is both tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished and the owner has created a true home from home and all modern essentials are in place ie: power shower, large television, fully equipped kitchen, huge super king bed.
When you arrive you find a tea tray set a fresh cake and fresh flowers a lovely welcome, The owner is very caring about her cottage and her high standards make this a perfect holiday home.
Brilliant Cotswold location, great cottage - we loved it and would definitely go back. The wood burning stove and south facing garden of this former cider mill were added bonuses. No long review here - trust me book and you won't be disappointed.
Perry Cottage is exceptionally well equipped and extremely comfortable. The rear garden is dog-proof against escape, a great relief with two small dogs busy exploring it! We had a very good stay and would certainly come back to Perry Cottage in the future/
I would live here if i could
A beautiful combination of old and new. This beautiful cottage combines character with modern convenience. Beams, exposed stone, European kitchen and baths. A wonderful garden and patio, flowers, grill, etc. has everything you want or need in luxurious setting. Excellent recommendation for close by pub in Ebrington. Set the tone for our week to stay in such a charming spacious cottage.

We couldn't of wished for more.
The Cottage is a converted barn with original Features and modern Equipment at once comfortable and tastefully decorated. We felt instantly at home when we found a delicious cake and a bottle of wine waiting for us. Very peaceful Location in a small village with lots of interesting places in the neighbourhood. A perfect retreat for a relaxing holiday in any weather conditions. We simply loved staying there!
A lovely retreat
Our third time back at Perry Cottage and as always a lovely stay. The cottage has everything you could ever need on holiday, very well equipped, immaculate and welcoming. We had our two dogs as well which wasn't a problem, the garden is perfect and the views stunning. A little gem in Paxford.
We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful cottage The accommodation was very clean, had everything you could wish for and allowed us to have a relaxing holiday, love to come back.
A perfect holiday in the Cotswolds
We had a fantastic stay in this perfect cottage. The setting was idyllic with a lovely private garden. We have stayed in alot of cotwsold cottages over the years and Perry cottage is simply the best! A great location for visiting the beautiful surrounding Cotswold villages of Chipping Campden, Broadway, Bourton-on-the-water etc. We will definately return!
Perry Cottage, Paxford
My husband and I have recently spent a very happy and comfortable three weeks at Perry Cottage and have nothing but positives to say about the cottage, location and the friendly attention from the Landlord.
Lovely cottage lovely surroundings had a great stay will definitely book again in future! Some nice walks to local pubs and restaurants some really nice places to eat.
Tranquility in the Cotswolds
This was our third stay in Perry Cottage.... a name which is synonymous with peace, warmth, high quality, charm, excellent character, spotlessly clean, simply the very best cottage we have stayed in. We love it.... my good lady just adores Perry Cottage, and as she walks in I can see the weight of her job falling from her shoulders. It is a place of tranquillity in a world which is far too busy for my liking. Giving a great review might encourage more people to visit Perry Cottage, which might mean that we cannot get a booking when we want to go! Oh dear....
Nothing to add- good stay
Nothing to add - good stay. Nothing to add - good stay. Nothing to add - good stay. Nothing to add - good stay. Nothing to add - good stay. Nothing to add - good stay.
Great stay. Will be back
Perry Cottage is really lovely and my husband and I had a very relaxing time. Tastefully done up and comfortable. The flowers and cake were a great touch - the cake was delish! We will be back! PS - the only thing that was a bit annoying at times were the two dogs that live outside - one of them barked non stop but that isn't your fault!
Everything you need
What a nice relief to find someone has stocked this cottage with everything you will need be it foil/ cling film/ Tupperware / ordnance survey / books etc. Lovely and warm and clean. Even refreshing to see well written welcome note. The cake and flowers should be kept as a surprise; no need to mention on booking details. Loved the young sheep in the adjacent field acting like a gang of mischievous youths happily bouncing about. Have already recommended and hoped lay we will return if looking to stay in that area again. Great pub in tiny village - slightly pricey but suits the excellent quality and class of food.
A superbly appointed, decorated and equipped cottage. A lot of attention to detail has been put into providing a wonderfully comfortable environment with everything of a high standard and in excellent condition. Lots of information available about the many activities and places to visit in the local area.
Great stay for our easter holidays
We stayed at the Perry Cottage for one week with our little son during the easter holidays. The location is great for exploration of the Cotswolds, walks starting form the cottage are also possible. The cottage is in excelent condition, very clean and well equipped (kitchen etc.)! The garden offered a wonderful possibility to enjoy the sunsets and our son loved playing in the grass. We can highly recommend the cottage and would love to be back in the future!
The cottage is equipped with everything, clean and well maintained. Excellent place to stay. Might views. Much to see in the area. From the cottage we had make beautiful walks.
Delightful comfortable cottage
Perry Cottage is ideally located for touring the Cotswolds. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. The outlook from the windows is lovely, particularly on a clear sunny afternoon. We enjoyed watching deer, rabbits and squirrels in the paddocks. The 'little extras' such as the Victorian sponge, ground coffee and hand lotion were a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. It was just a pity that during the evenings we had to endure moths and spiders.
A small haven of tranquility! Simply, stunning.
A very enjoyable stay. Beautiful cottage in a very convenient location. The styling of the cottage was very appealing. All the appliances you would expect for a self catering cottage.
I have just visited this cottage for the second time and found it just as lovely as last year. I enjoyed my stay and hope to return. The only downside for me is the journey to get there.
