Bedroom Two is a good size room with a 5' wide double sleigh bed and bedside tables. The lovely original elm polished wood floor is further enhanced with two sheepskin rugs. There are fitted cupboards down one side of the room, a mahogany chest of drawers and ladies armchair. A door leads directly into the bathroom which can then be used as an en suite bathroom.

A lovely house that had it all
We stayed at blakemans house for a couple of days. Great location for all amenities . Easy parking outside. House was lovely. Everything that your needs for a restful and relaxed trip away. Would definitely recommend it and we will be back for sure.

Blakemans cottage was all that we hoped for. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms spacious and well appointed. And after visiting several small villages in The Cotswolds everyone in our party agreed that Chipping Campden had the most charm.

Thank you very much for your feedback. Blakemans is a wonderful house to relax and use as as a base for visiting the area.
A very pleasant suprise
Tori1950 McKinney, Texas A very pleasant surprise! Left on May 16, 2016 for a stay in May 2016 After arriving in Chipping Campden and not liking our accommodations we moved to Blakeman's House. It is a very lovely and charming house. The linens and towels and beds were wonderful. It was very clean and the fresh tulips and cake were a nice touch. While the trash area could use some improvement, we were thrilled with our stay there. The gourmet kitchen was beyond expectations. The wifi was on the blink but the Sky TV was fabulous with outstanding surround sound and radio in every bedroom. The heated tiles in the bathrooms were also nice. Outstanding bath tubs and nice showers. It is in a great location and very quiet even though it is on High street. Altogether I would recommend it to anyone.

Chipping Campden Charm
Blakemans House and Chipping Camden were about as a delightful way to spend time in the Cotswolds as was possible to do. We used it as a base for a week.

Expectations exceeded
My wife and I flew in from Canada for a four week stay without a car. For two of the weeks we were joined by two adults from Canada with their two children (ages 7 and 5), and later two other adults for a weekend. We found Blakemans House to be a very comfortable character property well equipped with good standard appliances, furnishings, cutlery, crockery with lots of room. The housekeeping services' weekly change of good quality bed linens and towels enhanced the fundamentally excellent experience. Chipping Campden has an excellent range of shops, most notably for a wide range of quality meat, vegetables and bread with two general merchandise stores and a weekly fish wagon all within a short walk. It has a good number of pubs serving meals (our favorites were the Eight Bells and the Lygon Arms) with attendant quality beers. Our limited experience of local restaurants was good. The new Recreation Ground was a hit with the children. Finally the town has a very noticeable ambience that strengthens after five o'clock; the feeling of peace was real and the quiet was still. Good, easily accessible and reliable bus service for trips to Stratford, Oxford, Warwick and Moreton made it easy to forget we had no car. Expectations exceeded.

Blakemans House
This is without a doubt one of the nicest cottages we have ever stayed in. It was perfectly located and had everything which was required to give a complete home from home feel. We will definitely be coming back to stay. Thank you so much.

A wonderful Christmas
Four of us (and a dog) stayed for a week over Christmas and a wonderful time was had by everyone. The layout ensures lots of privacy and peace, if that's what you want but also plenty of space to hang out together. The niggles were precisely that; a dripping tap, a light bulb not working, curtains with faulty tracking - really very minor and they would probably have been quickly sorted if we'd called someone. Some nice touches - a decorated Christmas tree, a load mince pies - meant we had a memorable Christmas.

Our stay in Blakemans
We (family with 3 children) had a great time in Chipping Campden. The cottage and location of it is absolutely wonderful, everything and more you need is provided in the house. In particular the beds and wifi were excellent. There are a lot of nice little shops and restaurants and there is a lot to do in the surroundings. The tourist information office had many suggestions, one trip we very much enjoyed was to Snowshill manor and garden.

We booked the cottage for the week of our daughter's marraige in Chipping Campden, she married on the Tuesday of our stay, it was a lovely location and a lot more relaxing than having a hotel room. The cottage was very well equiped and comfortatble.

Wonderful house in a great location
Our party of 2 adults and 2 children had a wonderful stay at Blakemans House. The location is fantastic - right in the heart of Chipping Campden and walking distance to everything. Chipping Campden is itself a wonderful base for trips to the local towns and sights and walks through the Cotswalds. The living and dining areas were comfortable and well equipped and the bedrooms were delightful. Our daughter was very sad to leave as she said it had felt just like it was her home! We could not have been happier and would certainly recommend.
