Tucked away in a peaceful, narrow lane which only leads to a footpath across open fields, Rosemary Cottage is ideally situated in the middle of a row of lovely honey coloured Cotswold stone cottages, facing onto woodland scenery. The cottage dates back to the early 1800's and was formerly owned by Lord and Lady Northwick, and later Spencer Churchill. It is full of character and has been renovated, enhancing all of the original features. Located in Blockley in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Rosemary Cottage is accessed via a well established cottage garden. Situated in a delightful village amongst the rolling

A door leads from the kitchen up the oak stairs to the landing. These stairs can be slippery and you are advised to wear rubber soled shoes or rubber soled slippers.
The bedroom has been attractively decorated
providing a relaxing environment with views to the front of the
house. There is a five foot black/brass bed with matching bedside
table. A fitted cupboard with hanging for clothes and additional
shelving and wicker baskets. Dressing table and matching chair. An
antique pine shelf also provides a variety of reading material.
Leading from the bedroom is the bathroom
BATHROOM - The bathroom consists of bath, W.C. and pedestal basin. Ornate mirror with light and shaving socket. Chrome bath fittings and marble/scroll tiles.
Once again, every attention to detail has been made.
Overlooking the rear, the window is bordered by Victorian lace
voile but also has a blind. There is a five foot white/brass bed,
with matching bedside tables. An antique pine wardrobe with bottom
drawer for clothes.
Leading from the bedroom is the shower room which comprises of a walk in shower, W.C and pedestal basin. Tiled from floor to ceiling with a mixture of white and mosaic tiles. There are chrome fittings, which complement the cabinet with mirror and shower cubicle.
An established cottage garden with small lawn is at
the front of the cottage and is bordered to the lane by a drystone
wall. Enjoy a morning coffee and listen to the birds singing, while
sitting at the table and chairs provided.
PARKING - Parking is at the side of the road, at the top of the lane, approximately 20 to 30 yards away. It is possible to bring your car down to outside the garden gate for ease of loading an unloading.
The lane is a no thorough road that leads to a public footpath across the fields. A dog is welcome by prior arrangement only. The garden to the left (with no boundary) belongs to the neighbour, so your dog must be on a lead when in the garden.

We are pleased to welcome your dog but remind you of the following conditions All dogs must be kept under strict control at all times whilst on the property.
Any "messes" must be cleared up without delay. They should be disposed of in a bag in either the grey wheelie bin or the Cotswold District Council plastic sack - not in the green wheelie bin.
Please provide bedding for your dog. Dogs must not be left in the property unattended. For the comfort of future guests we ask that dogs remain downstairs and stay off the furniture.
Please ensure that no trace of a dog remains after your departure. We regret that, if these conditions are not complied with, there will be a charge.
