This was such a lovely write up from a recent guest at The Glen that we had to share it with you
"We keep wondering how the new tenants are getting along in our house, in our village, and enjoying a "six-o'clocks" in our local. We wonder how our neighbors across the street, on either side of us, and those two on our side of the street and down a bit are doing.
We wonder if they are getting to know Mandy, who works at the Post Office two mornings per week? And, have they discovered the ducks and are feeding them? And, if they have tried the "spotted dick" at Murray's, or the superb "boef bourginon" at the Crown, or found out how great the bus service is to Chipping Campden, or Stow-in-the-Wold, and how nice the Communion Service is early Sunday Morning, of just how great it is reading a good book in our garden is, with birds galore singing in the background?
We may have started out thinking we were going to visit a small village in the Cotswolds, and we ended up knowing what it is like to LIVE in a small village in the Cotswalds!
You have contributed so much to us, our kids and grand-kids, to the extent we feel we know you two, by knowing so much about the surroundings we relished in!!
Such wonderful memories!
Thank you!
