Low season is December and January (exc
Christmas and New Year). High season is July and August. Prices
gradually increase and decrease between these periods. Prices
for Christmas and New Year on request. Short breaks out of
season or for late availability. Prices quoted include oil,
first basket of logs, electric, linen and towels, fresh flowers
and a welcome tea tray with home made cake. Extra for additional
logs £5 per basket.
This cottage is closed from 1 November 2012 until 27 April 2013
House is a Grade II Listed detached house set in
its own gardens. Built as a farmhouse in 1681 it retains many
character features including the sundial set in the stone
of the front of the house, from which it takes its name.
Sundial Wing is a completely
self contained part of Sundial House with its own south-facing
private garden. Built of Blue Lias stone with Cotswold stone
mullion windows, it has full oil central heating. (The owners
live in the other half of the house and have their own entrance
and garden at the rear of the house).
Walk through the rose covered porch and
old oak front door into a lobby area with flagstone floor
and Cotswold stone walls.
This spacious room is heavily beamed and features
a large inglenook fireplace, complete with a bread oven which
still has its original door. The fire is left ready laid for
your use together with a basket of logs.
More logs are available at a small extra
You can relax in the rocking chair or sofa
in front of a roaring fire, or sit on the window seat and
watch the birds in the garden. There is a television with Freeview, DVD
player and radio.
At one end of the sitting room is the dining area with table

cooker with ceramic hob and double oven (one withgrill and one fan assisted), dishwasher, microwave, fridge with
freezer compartment, cafetiere.
A door from the kitchen leads into the Utility Room which is shared with the owner. Use of washing machine and tumble dryer.
