BOTH BEDROOMS ON THE GROUND FLOOR

Low season is December and January (exc Christmas and New Year). High season is July and August. Prices gradually increase and decrease between these periods. Prices for Christmas and New Year on request. Short breaks out of season or for late availability. Prices quoted include for gas, electric, first basket of logs, linen and towels, fresh flowers and welcome tea tray with home made cake.

PROPERTY DETAILS:

Skylarks Ridge is a single storey mellow Cotswold stone barn conversion, all on one level - ideal for anybody who has difficulty climbing stairs. There is full gas central heating.

Situated in a gloriously rural environment, about 2 miles from Chipping Campden at the top of Saintbury Hill. However, within approximately only 5 minutes walk is The Dormy House Hotel and Broadway Golf Club.

Gaze at the outstanding views over the Cotswold countryside for miles around. With views like this you can understand why it has been designated an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty". Absolute bliss! Many lovely walks in the area (the Cotswold Way is opposite the farm) through fields and woods. Enjoy spotting the wildlife, birds and flowers.

ENTRANCE HALL

The front door opens to a carpeted entrance with the rooms leading off. 

SITTING ROOM

The sitting room has many of the original features including exposed beams and rafters, stone and old brick pillars with quoins to the gabled ceiling.  There is an unusual feature fire place with an exposed Cotswold stone and reclaimed brick chimney breast. The first basket of logs is included in the price, thereafter logs can be purchased locally.

Two sets of french doors let in plenty of natural light into the room; one opening to the courtyard garden, the other to the patio garden on the other side of the cottage with the wonderful views.

Comfortable three seater sofa and two arm chairs. Colour television with Freeview and DVD player. In the wall unit there are a variety of games and books to suit all ages.

KITCHEN

Skylarks Ridge has a fully fitted and integrated oak kitchen. Windows are on two sides, one overlooking the courtyard, the other across the fields. Again there are exposed beams in the kitchen and a feature exposed Cotswold stone wall. The table and four chairs are in the centre of the room. The kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge freezer, Sharp microwave and Hotpoint washing machine and dishwasher.

BEDROOM ONE

Ducal four poster double bed (4'6" wide)complete with drapes. Matching Ducal bed room suite - bedside chests, wardrobe with shelf and dressing table with drawers.

Windows on two sides looking out on to the courtyard garden, the other to the patio garden on the other side of the cottage with the wonderful views.

Again, all beams and rafters are exposed.

BEDROOM TWO

The twin bedroom has two Ducal single beds (3' wide) with matching bedroom furniture - wardrobe and chest of drawers   There is a bedside table between the beds with a standard lamp either side.

The window faces onto the courtyard.

BATHROOM

Small bathroom with a cream bath, basin and wc. Shower over the bath and shower curtain.

GARDEN

There are two areas - the courtyard garden or the patio area at the side of the cottage. The patio area has the lovely views

CAR PARKING

Private parking alongside the cottage for two cars.
