Blockley is a pretty Cotswold stone village in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just three miles from Chipping Campden or four miles from Moreton in Marsh. Blockley shop, post office and licensed Cafe is open every day selling a wide range of provisions, newspapersand appetising snacks and drinks. There are also two pubs in the village serving traditional and “restaurant” meals – The Crown, which is a short stroll along the High Street from the cottage and the Great Western Arms.
Rockbank Cottage is an attractive early 19 century traditional Cotswold stone cottage. Situated in a no through road near the centre of Blockley on a raised bank with views over the rooftops, across the valley. It is reached via 5 steps up from the road to a pathway which leads through the garden (in front of the neighbouring house and then into the enclosed garden of Rockbank Cottage.

Sitting Room
Lovely cosy room with open log fire, exposed beams, old wooden floor and large rug. Two leather sofas and two armchairs. Plenty of books and games.
Stairs (10 fairly steep wooden steps) lead up from the kitchen to the first floor landing. Bannister. To the right are one large and one small step into Bedroom Two and to the left are 2 steps up to the other rooms.
Bedroom One with En suite Shower, Basin and WC
L shaped room with French doors leading out onto private gravelled area with bench seat. Cream / brass double bedstead (4’6” wide) with light oak bedside chest of drawers with lamps (one with mirror over) and an oak wardrobe.

Bedroom Two
From the landing there are two steps into this large, light and sunny bedroom. You may need to duck your head as you enter. Window seat with views over the garden and across the rooftops to the opposite hillside. Victorian stone fireplace with iron basket (not working). Safety catch on windows
Twin beds (3ft wide) with oak twist headboard (no footboard). They can be pushed together if required. Bedside tables with lamps. Oak wardrobe and chest of drawers with mirror over. Further hanging space in curtained alcove.
Bedroom Three
Two single beds (3ft wide). Victorian dressing table/chest of drawers with inset tiles. Alcove with curtain across housing an immersion heater, rack shelving and hanging for clothes. Safety catch on windows
