Low season is December and January (exc Christmas and New Year). High season is July and August. Prices gradually increase and decrease between these periods. Prices for Christmas and New Year on request. Short breaks out of season or for late availability. Prices quoted include for gas, electric, linen and towels and welcome tea tray with home made cake.

PROPERTY DETAILS:

Kettle Cottage is in the centre of Chipping Campden but tucked away so you would never know it was there. It can be reached via a cobbled alleyway, and can be found in the grounds of The Kettle House, from which it takes its name. The Kettle House was built in 1640 and was formerly a blacksmiths. Kettle House is rented by a family on a long term rental.  It is believed that Kettle cottage was built in the Victorian era. There is full gas central heating.

At the front of the cottage there is a small, attractive courtyard – ideal for sitting on the bench and contemplating what the day has in store.

Enter the cottage through the oak front door into the:

SITTING ROOM
Comfortable two seater sofa and two armchairs. Craftsman built, solid oak sideboard with matching bookcase and table for the television. Freeserve with digibox, video, DVD. Music centre with radio, CD and ipod/MP3 compatible. The unusual Victorian Stove style, coal effect calor gas fire is great focal point for the room.

In one corner of the room is the DINING AREA with circular table and chairs to seat 4. A door leads through to the:

KITCHEN
This newly fitted bijou kitchen is attractively furnished with good quality fitted cupboards and beech effect work surfaces. White, ceramic circular sink. Dishwasher. Ceramic hob with two cooking rings. Electric fan oven with grill. Extractor fan above oven. Electric kettle, toaster, cafetiere plus all essential cooking equipment The fridge with freezer compartment and microwave are to be found in the walk-in cupboard, just as you enter the sitting room. Ironing board and iron.

We regret that there is no washing machine or tumble dryer available.The nearest launderette is approx 8 miles away in Moreton in Marsh.

Stairs lead from the kitchen to the wide landing upstairs.

BEDROOM ONE
This bedroom is delightfully furnished and full of light and sun. There are windows on two sides and also a door which leads out onto a secluded decking area, overlooking the garden. A circular metal table and chairs are provided so that you can sit and relax.

19th Century French, large 5’ wide double hand painted bed Bedside tables with lamps. Dressing table with two drawers and mirror above.

Comfortable arm chair. The cupboard for hanging clothes and shelves for this room can be found in the second bedroom.

BATHROOM FOR BEDROOM ONE
Large bathroom. Bath with shower over and screen. WC. Basin.

Along the landing, through a door and down two steps is:

BEDROOM TWO
Two single (3’ wide) hand finished sleigh beds. Unusual small, Chinese hexagaonal shaped chest of drawers with lamp. Small chest of drawers. Two sets of fitted cupboards with hanging and shelf over (one cupboard is for the use of Bedroom One). Antique rocking chair.

BATHROOM FOR BEDROOM TWO
Bath with mixer tap. WC. Basin. Shaver point.

GARDEN
In addition to the flagged courtyard area at the front of the cottage, the secluded, decking area with table and chairs (see under Bedroom One), gives fantastic views of Chipping Campden church and the main gardens (not for use of cottage guests) of Kettle House itself.

PARKING
Public parking spaces in street outside.

Strictly no smoking.
