PROPERTY DETAILS:
Broad
Campden is an extremely picturesque, small village, just on
the South side of Chipping Campden. The village has some lovely
thatched cottages and many historic buildings. The Bakers
Arms pub in the centre of Broad Campden has recently won “Best
Gloucestershire pub” for its “real ale”.
Meals are served both in the bar and in the dining room. Broad
Campden is ideally situated for touring around the glorious
Cotswold countryside which has been designated an Area of
Outstanding Natural Beauty. Stratford upon Avon, Warwick,
Cheltenham, Blenheim Palace and Oxford are all within easy
driving distance. London can be reached in approx 1¾
hours by train from Moreton in Marsh and is on the main line
to Paddington.
Ingleside Cottage is situated on the lane
through Broad Campden, in a quiet and peaceful setting. Built
approximately 300 years ago it still retains many of the original
features. Ingleside Cottage has been beautifully furnished
with great care and thought for the owners’ own use
and we are lucky to have the use of it as a holiday cottage.
There is full gas central heating. Telephone with “honesty
box”.

SITTING ROOM
This room is dominated by the large inglenook fireplace and
the many old beams. A very realistic large, open, log effect
gas fire warms the room very quickly. The floor is laid with
the original flagstones which are covered in part by an attractive
rug. The old, leaded glass window is surrounded by stone mullions
and the wall is of exposed Cotswold stone wall.
A three seater sofa, arm chair and ladies
chair, as well as a large pouffe, all add to your comfort.
A colour TV, VCR and DVD together with a CD player/radio all
combine to make Ingleside a relaxing ‘home from home’.
Leaded glass French doors lead into the
