gradually increase and decrease between these periods. Short breaks out of
season or for late availability. Price includes gas, electric, logs, linen and towels, fresh flowers and welcome tea tray with home made cake.
  
Blockley is a delightful village situated amongst the rolling hills of the North Cotswolds, between Chipping Campden and Moreton in Marsh in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The new Blockley Shop and Cafe is now open,
where hot food is also served, home-made cakes, croisants for an early breakfast and a shop which stocks just about everything. The shop and cafe opens at 8.30 am and also sells newspapers & magazines, etc.
The Great Western Arms pub in the village serves meals or food can be purchased to take away.
The Crown Hotel serves food in the bar and restaurant.
During the summer months these are open all day.
PROPERTY DETAILS:
Gabriel Cottage is a Grade II Listed, attractive, double fronted Cotswold stone cottage, built approximately 200 years ago. Situated on the edge of the village of Blockley in Pasture Lane, a quiet cul de sac. The lane leads up to fields where you can walk and enjoy the wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Gabriel Cottage has been furnished with great care and thought with the result that it is a delightful cottage for you to stay. There is full gas central heating (combi boiler) and a log burning stove in the sitting room.
Enter the cottage through the stable front door, into the hallway.
In the hallway, dining room and kitchen there are attractive flagstone floors and exposed Cotswold stone walls.

SITTING ROOM
Relax on the comfy two seater sofa or in the two leather club armchairs, in front of the cosy wood burning stove (logs are provided). With a window at each end of the room there is plenty of light and sun. TV with Freeview. DVD player and Digital Radio.

DINING ROOM
Attractive beamed room with flagstone floor and exposed stone wall. Farmhouse style table with dining chairs for 6 people, Matching sideboard and Pine Dresser.

KITCHEN
Small kitchen but well equipped with Stoves electric fan oven with ceramic hob, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge with ice box, Panasonic microwave, cafetiere.
A door leads from the kitchen to the garden
Stairs from the hallway lead up to the landing.
BEDROOM ONE
With 5’ wide Feather & Black iron bedstead with ivory railing and brass detail. Wash hand-basin. Chest of drawers. Two wardrobes. Flat screen TV and Hairdryer.
BEDROOM TWO
Zip and link bed which can be either two single 3’ beds or one 6’ bed. Fitted cupboard with shelves and hanging for clothes, Hairdryer.
There are lovely views from both bedroom windows across Blockley towards the church.
BATHROOM
Bath with electric shower over bath, hand-basin and wc. Electric towel rail.
GARDEN
To the side of the cottage steps lead up to a delightful patio garden with table chairs and parasol. There is a further seating area at the rear, to catch the evening sun.
CAR PARKING
Private parking for one car at the side of the cottage.
A small dog permitted by prior arrangement only, provided it is kept to the ground floor and not left unattended in the cottage.
