Prices for Christmas and New Year on request. Short breaks out of season or for late availability. Prices quoted include for gas, electric, linen and towels, fresh flowers and welcome tea tray with home made cake.

Situated in the Lower High Street in Chipping Campden, next to the Catholic Primary School, Blakemans House is ideally placed. Only a short distance from the little shops and the wide variety of restaurants, tea rooms and pubs, but surrounded by carefully preserved Cotswold stone homes. Built in the 18th Century and Grade II Listed, Blakemans retains many of its original features, such as exposed beams in most rooms, sloping walls and the lovely old banisters and newel post on the stairs. With renovation only recently having been completed, the house has been furnished with quality fixtures and fittings, so that all you need to do is just sit back and enjoy the self evident luxury

Enter the cottage through the front door into the
Sitting Room
This is an “L” shaped room. In the main body of the room there is comfortable seating for 6 (2 armchairs not shown in photo). The main fireplace is non working. However, in the “leg” of the room there is a woodburning stove. Fully carpeted. This room faces south and is light and sunny.
Leading off the sitting room is the
Kitchen
Lovely new kitchen with cream cupboards, granite worktops and a solid oak breakfast bar. Large Mercury range cooker gas hob (with special wok ring) and electric ovens. Stainless steel extractor fan. Miele dishwasher. Amana American style side by side fridge freezer with ice cube maker. Microwave, cafetiere, Duralit toaster.
A door from the sitting room leads into the
Utility Room
The Bosch washing machine and Bosch tumble dryer are in a Utility Room which is off the sitting room.
Walk from the kitchen into the newly built
Solid Oak Conservatory Dining Room
Modern style glass topped dining table with craftsman made wrought iron base and matching chairs. French doors open all down one side onto the paved area of the garden which is surrounded by drystone Cotswold walling.
Stairs lead up from the sitting room to the first floor landing.
Bedroom Two with En suite / Family Bathroom
This is a good size room with a 5’ wide double sleigh bed and bedside tables. The lovely original elm polished wood floor is further enhanced with two sheepskin rugs. Fitted cupboards down one side of the room. Mahogany chest of drawers and ladies armchair. A door from this room leads directly into the bathroom which can then be used as an en suite bathroom.
Family / En suite Bathroom with Bath and Walk in Shower
This room can be reached either through the door from the landing or through the door from Bedroom Two.
Luxurious bathroom with white bathroom suite and marble surrounds. Walk in shower. WC. Heated towel rail. This room has underfloor electric heating.
Bedroom Three
Twin bedroom with two 3’ wide iron bedsteads in an ivory colour. Fitted cupboards. Chest of drawers. Again this is a good size room with windows on two sides.

Spoil yourself with the two basins, walk in shower, wc and bath – all surrounded in marble. Tiled floor with underfloor heating. Heated towel rail.
Garden
The garden is reached from the oak conservatory dining room and is on 3 levels. The first and middle level are paved, the top level is grass with herbaceous borders. There is a garden table, chairs and umbrella (not shown). The middle level has ground level lighting. Barbecue.
During the term time as it is next to the primary school you will be able to here the children during their breaks.
Parking
There are public parking spaces in the street outside Blakemans with no time limit and no charges.
