Introduction
Ingleside Cottage is in the village Broad Campden and is approximately 300 years old. It is rented out as a holiday home through Campden Cottages. The accommodation provides sitting room, kitchen with dining area, utility area, 2 bedrooms and bathroom. The staircase and bedrooms are carpeted, the sitting has the original stone flags and the kitchen/dining area and bathroom have vinyl tiles.
Pre-Arrival
All enquiries/bookings are handled by Campden Cottages. The extensive web site has a page for Ingleside Cottage with photographs and a full description as well as much useful local information.
- Bookings / enquiries can be made via email, fax or phone.
- Once the final payment is made, directions are sent to you which include the postcode.
- The No. 22 bus runs from Moreton in Marsh to Stratford on Avon via Broad Campden, Chipping Campden, Broadway and the bus stop is by the Bakers Arm in the middle of the village approximately a quarter of a mile away. There is a link to the timetable under Local Information / Transport on the Campden Cottages web page. There are no buses on Sundays or Bank Holidays.
- The nearest railway station is Moreton in Marsh which is approximately 4 miles away. It is on the main line from London Paddington to Worcester. There is a bridge ramp for wheelchair access.
- Taxis are not always waiting at the station and you are advised to book a taxi in advance.

- Sheila Rolland is the director of Campden Cottages and lives locally. She is on hand should you have any queries or need help and can be contacted on the Campden Cottages telephone number. Bev Needham of Campden Housekeepers, can be contacted if there are problems in the cottage during your stay.
- Arrival time: 4.00pm onwards.
- Departure time: By 10.00am.
- Children over 5 are welcome.
- A small dog is allowed by prior arrangement with Campden Cottages.
- In the village of Broad Campden there is a pub, the Baker’s Arm, offering food and real ale within walking distance of Ingleside Cottage.
- Approximate distances from Broad Campden: Moreton in Marsh 4 miles, Chipping Campden 1½ miles, Stratford upon Avon 12 miles, Cheltenham 20 miles.
Arrival and Car Parking Facilities
- Directions and instructions for the keys are sent to you as soon as the final payment has been made.
- Opposite the cottage is an attractive area with grass and herbaceous borders. This belongs to Ingleside and you may park on the grass.
Main Entrance
- Key safe to right of front door 25cm above step.
- 81cm x 1.9m front door hinged to the right direct from the pavement into the sitting room. There is a 10cm high stone slabbed step in front of the door and a 2cm metal threshold bar.
- Door handle at 96cm and lock at 1.16m.
- Four light switches to the left of the door on entry at 1.35m and 1.42m.
- 70cm x 48cm inset coir door mat directly inside front door.
Sitting Room
- Size of room 5.75m x 3.47m max.
- Original stone flagged floor with large rug.
- 8cm high step to wide stone flagged fireplace with wood burning effect gas stove.
- Under stairs cleaning/storage cupboard with 68cm x 1.9m door and latch at 1.27m.
