Access Statement

ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE FROM HIGH HOUSE

Pedestrian access to High House is only via the steps to the left of the house. 

The vehicular access to the rear of the house is via a driveway owned by the neighbour and we only have vehicular (NOT pedestrian) access over it to reach the rear of High House.

PLEASE DO NOT WALK, PARK OR TURN ON THE NEIGHBOUR`S LAND.

PEDESTRIAN ACCESS

Go through the gate on the left of High House.  There are 3 steps from the roadway 1660mm wide, 150 to 200mm high. You are now through the gate. 

There are 4 more steps the first of which is on a bend 1660 wide and tapering to a point, 150 high with an average of 960mm deep.  The other 3 steps are 1200mm wide, 154mm high and 400mm deep.

It then opens out to a paved area 1700mm wide by 1300mm (average).

There are then two sets of steps.  The right hand ones lead to the front door and the left hand ones lead towards the rear garden.  There is a paved pathway joining the two together at the top.

Steps to front door

There are 6 steps 1100mm wide x 200mm high  and varying 260 - 360 in depth.  There is then a paved area to the front door and a paved walkway towards the rear garden, joining the other steps.

Steps towards the rear garden

There are 7 steps 1007mm x 170mm high x 500mm deep

At the end of the house the paved area stops and it is gravelled behind the house and conservatory and in the parking area
