Access Statement
Our self-catering holiday cottage is situated in the gardens behind the main house and hence is quiet, yet all the facilities of the High Street are just a few minutes’ walk away.
The cottage has a sitting room, dining room, kitchen, single bedroom, double bedded room, a family room (double bed and single bed) and bathroom.
Before you arrive

There is no public transport to or from Chipping Campden on a Sunday or Bank holidays. Monday to Saturday regular buses run from Stratford-upon-Avon via Chipping Campden to Moreton-in-Marsh and vice versa, thus serving the railway stations in those towns. Moreton-in-Marsh serves London Paddington and Stratford-upon-Avon serves Birmingham and the north.
There are no taxi ranks in Chipping Campden but there are several local private hire firms who can be booked as necessary.
Chipping Campden has a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants and two banks. The nearest larger towns are Stratford-upon-Avon (12 miles) and Evesham (9 miles).
When you arrive
As in the majority of places nowadays, on-street parking is a problem. We suggest that you park as close by as you can. We will then show you how to get round to our own private parking. This private parking is accessed via electric security gates and there are two spaces allocated for our self-catering guests. The surface of the car park is gravel. From the car park you walk down a stone flag path with one small step to the entrance to your accommodation. This path continues and has three further small steps and two normal ones and opens out to a cobbled courtyard over which you access the High Street. The path and the car park have lights which come on at night as you walk past them.

The rooms
The entire property is non-smoking.
The entrance hall opens to a living room with three piece suite, radiant gas fire, colour television and DVD recorder and is well lit. The entire cottage, with the exception of the kitchen and the bathroom, has fully fitted carpet.
The dining room leads off the entrance hall – with table, six chairs, drinks cabinet and music centre and spacious cupboard.
The entrance hall also leads to the kitchen. This is equipped with microwave, refrigerator, cooker with four gas rings, grill and oven and has a range of cupboards with kitchen sink and mixer tap. The floor is vinyl tiles.
A standard 13 tread staircase with handrail leads to the three bedrooms and bathroom. The family room has a double bed and a single bed together with shower and basin. The double room has a double bed and basin. There is a small single bedded room. A hairdryer is available for your use. All bedrooms have wardrobes, mirrors and bed head lights. The bathroom has bath, basin and toilet. The floor has vinyl tiles and there is a selection of toiletries. Both the shower and the bath have non-slip mats available.
We also offer laundry facilities, shared with our bed and breakfast guests. This is situated close to the car parking area and will be pointed out to you, if required.
Gardens
We are proud of our garden and encourage you to enjoy it. There are seats and tables in various places, both in and out of the shade, and visitors are welcome to picnic. There are two ponds and a water feature on the property, hence we do not accept children under the age of 7 years. There are paths and one or two small steps leading to the various patios, one of which is for your own use.
